If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, return the item for a full refund within 30 days from receipt. Upon return, pending inspection, a refund will be issued for merchandise received in “as new” condition. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for, properly repackage and secure the merchandise to ensure safe return.
Delivery applies to the mainland UK excluding Scottish Highlands & off shore islands.
Most of our products are large and heavy and therefore shipping will usually require the use of a freight company to deliver your order.
Transit times stated in product descriptions are average estimates of when a product would usually leave from our warehouse under normal buying conditions and can be affected by heightened seasonal trade.
We cannot be responsible for unforeseen circumstances which may occasionally interfere with an estimated delivery schedule.
We make every effort to advise our customers as soon as we become aware of an item out of stock or anticipate a shipping delay. If an item is not in stock, we will notify you immediately. All back orders are kept open and shipped unless expressly cancelled via email or telephone.
We will endeavor to accommodate any requests if you need an item for a specific date or important event.
We will advise via email when the order has left our warehouse and provide your tracking/pro number and the contact details of the freight company. The freight company will then contact you by phone to arrange a convenient delivery day Mon – Fri.
The order will have been packed securely onto a pallet and our free delivery includes standard kerb side delivery. This means that the vehicle will pull up as close as it safely can to your home. The driver is not required to help carry the product. Although most drivers will be helpful, we recommend having more than one person present when your furniture arrives to make sure you will have the help you may need unloading and carrying the products. We specify a tail-lift service – this allows the furniture to be lowered to the ground without having to physically lift the furniture from the back of the vehicle. It is your responsibility to dispose of all packaging and is not a requirement that the freight carrier removes any or all packaging including pallet.
Inspect all items upon delivery. Damage during transit is rare and your order will be packed to further prevent accidental damage en route. Your shipment did not leave us in an excessively torn or crushed state and therefore if it arrives in this condition please note any box damage, furniture damage or shortages on the delivery receipt then contact us immediately. If you have multiple items on one shipment, inspect every item. For example, if one item looks damaged, check the others as we can easily replace the damaged item in a separate shipment. If your furniture arrives damaged, defective or missing pieces, we will endeavor to replace or repair the item promptly and at no cost to you. Shortages and damages must be reported immediately upon receipt of merchandise.
If you refuse a shipment delivered by a commercial freight company for any reason this shall be treated as a return, and all shipping charges & restocking charges of up to 30% will be applied. We reserve the right to charge all shipping charges & 30% restocking charges for any returned orders. All custom Cushions (including furniture items where cushions are a part) and custom Umbrellas are classified as custom orders and it is not possible to return these items.
Unless requested by the customer, signatures are not required as proof of delivery for UPS or Fedex Ground Shipments. Where possible orders will be left at the delivery address and a UPS or Fedex Proof of Delivery will serve as confirmation that the order has been delivered. Please inform us immediately if any parcels or items are missing and we will attempt to rectify the situation and in worst cases can submit a claim with the shipper on your behalf.
We shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the products on this site or the performance of the products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Prices are subject to change and/or correction at any time. Oceanic Teak Furniture Limited reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your use of this website following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the terms and conditions as changed.
